Blaq Pyrates - Featured ArtistBlaq Pyrates are a group of guys who are crafting some pretty impressive hip hop that has stood out to us here at Indie Music Plus. Now, as you know, I’m not a huge hip hop guy but I do enjoy good music and catchy rhymes. Specifically, I love QUALITY hip hop with a message. Blaq Pyrates fits that criteria for me completely.

The guys were six strong until recently and are now five due to an unfortunate passing of one of their crew. Blaq Pyrates are obviously working hard making quality music, however it’s a little tough to find them online. They don’t have a website and have limited social presence. They do have most of the important social media channels but it seems as though they’re still bringing things together on the branding front. We want to help, that’s why they are a featured artist. They are extremely worth the listen!

Dave presses the guys in the Deeper with Dave segment about their limited social presence and Marty responded saying (and I’m paraphrasing) “they fell into this due to their love of music and they’re getting all the other stuff together as they go.” I feel like that is reasonable as I’ve been there myself. Marty also expresses that the way the group is, the way they dress, the way they live, it IS who they are.
