Paul Decoster goes by the name DECOSTER. The music he tends to write is a little progressive with an underlying groove. It can also get soft and sensitive as well. He tends to have a wide gambit of influences. He’s releasing some new music this year, some of which were written during the pandemic.
His music is very accessible to the average listener and intriguing for the musician. His chord changes and melodies are very intricate which keeps the listener interested. James Taylor comes to mind when listening to his single “Lend a Hand” which is featured in his #IndieMusicLIVE! interview.
Decoster
During the pandemic, Decoster has actually been making the best of it by perfecting his craft. He’s been exploring the world of more complicated and interesting and more progressive harmonies and melodies as well as working on his jazz guitar. He wants to keep getting better at his instrument and writing songs. Shows are lining up for him and hopefully, he’ll be able to start making some forward motion on playing live.
I’m excited to hear what Decoster comes out with in the future. One of the best things about Paul is how he scoots between genres but makes great songs that are consistent with his lane.
