SWATS – Featured Artist

SWATSWe’ve known SWATS for a few years now. In fact, he’s part of the cutting edge gamer/rap group GAMEBREAX. We featured them a few years ago when Indie Music Plus was just starting out. We’ve had SWATS’ partner Omega Sparx on Indie Music LIVE! as a panel guest frequently as well. Now SWATS is releasing his own music now and we thought it was time to give him a featured artist slot!

SWATS definitely stands out on his own as an artist. I’ve always been a huge fan of Gamebreax. Even though the music of SWATS is more pop-oriented, current fans will certainly recognize his sound. So far he has released 4 tracks off a 10 track album and his newest single as of writing is “Never Stand Down” which is about surviving in the corporate workplace including layoffs and such. The song is dedicated to those folks. SWATS says this song is coming from a personal angle.

If you like a rhythmic percussive rap style then check out Gamebreax. If you like that PLUS sing-songy melodies and a super fresh production style, then you’ll also really dig on SWATS.
